Not the Prom Queen

A user calls saying that the software I installed for him the other day is not working. I go to his desk to check out the problem. End up uninstalling and reinstalling the software. As I finish, he tells me he needs another software installed. No problem. He hands me the cd and I begin the intall when the software asks for a license key. I type the license key, hit submit - I get an error message that says "The license is already in use." I tell the user that the license has already been registered. He asks what I mean. I explain the license is already being used. He promplty asks "Well can't you just make it work???". Sure, let me put on my hacker hat! Um, let's see... NO.
