Ok here's my boxing rant.... We watched the fight this weekend. Vivan Harris vs Carlos Moussa and Floyd Mayweather vs Arturo Gatti. First off I have to say the Harris/Moussa fight was good. Moussa is not a great fighter, but a strategic fighter. He was like the elastic man. Just all over the place. I was very surprised he left himself unguarded most of the time. However, in the end he clocked Harris with a beautiful punch that won him the fight. As for Mayweather/Gatti - that fight sucked. Mayweather is a good fighter, fast with endurance. But Gatti gave Mayweather no fight - you can't fight if you don't throw punches! There was even a second where Mayweather was holding Gatti down by the back of the neck, when Gatti lifted up he looked to the ref to call a break, but the ref didn't, Gatti's arms were down and Mayweather popped him. Boxing 101: Protect yourself at all times. Gatti - this was the wrong fight to change your boxing style. Don't think for one minute you were even close to winning that fight!
