Normally we spend a zillion dollars at Christmas. Not just for our kids, but all the family too. This year it just wasn't possible - We only purchased for our kids.
In my quest to find deals and get the most of our money - I conceeded to shop only at Target this year. Normally I'm a WalMart shopper but my first (and last) trip there yielded nothing but frusteration and headaches. No Selection. No Sales. Too Many screaming kids. Too many people in general. I've converted to Target!
Christmas on a budget buys:
- Bella Dancerella Swan Lake
- Dr. Barbie
- MyScene BlingBling w/ Garnet Ring
- Ballerina slippers
- Ballerina leotard & tights
- Ballerina Tutu
- Uno Card Game
- Barbie Genevieve
- The game of life
- Barbie Slippers
And
- Terrordactyl
- BC T-Rex
- Imaginex Dragon
- Marvel Heroes TShirt
- Transformer Brimstone
- Hot Wheel cars
- Yugioh Slipper Socks
- Vtec Laptop
- Operation
- Pull string Monster Truck

12/31/06, 7:02 AMOh, enjoy those gifts while you can! My daughters each wanted (and got) a Nintendo DS ($130) and game ($30), Lindsay had to have Heeleys ($60...on clearance!), Baylee needed some shoes called Audios (never heard of them...$30, on clearance), and Nick needed football jerseys at a hundred bucks each. Oh I miss the days of Barbies and GI Joes!- NtPQ said...
1/13/07, 9:32 PMTammy - they did ask for the expensive electronics but they already have lots of games. I dread as they get older the prices will just go up!
