Not the Prom Queen

Last week after daycare, my husband announces that my son (4 yrs old) has something to tell me. The conversation went like this...

Daddy: The boy's got something to tell you.
Daddy to boy: Tell Momma what you did today
Boy in little voice: Today at naptime, I couldn't sleep. I found a piece
of corn...but it was a little piece of corn momma - and
I put it in my nose.
Me: You what?
Boy: But it was ok, we got it out, then my nose started bleeding.
Daddy: Tell her what your teacher said about not putting stuff in your nose.
Boy: She said not to put things in my nose because I will grow a tree out of my nose.
Me: HAHAHAHAHA... what in the....HAHAHAHA...Why would you....HAHAHHAHA... You shouldn't....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
Daddy: Not exactly the reaction you were supposed to have!
